Press Release on 28th September 2017Wall Painting Competition Conducted by Jammu Municipal Corporation
To commemorate 3rd anniversary of Swachh Bharat Mission as Swachhata Hi Sewa Jammu Municipal Corporation organized open wall painting competition on retaining walls near hotel Asia which shall continue for three days w.e.f28/09/2017 to 30/09/2017. 53 participants from different schools / colleges and other artists are taking part in the competition. Wall Painting Competition started as per the directions of Commissioner JMC Sh. M. Raju (IAS) in presence of Joint Commissioner (A), Secretary, Health Officer JMC.
This initiative has been taken for beautification of Jammu city under Swachh Bharat Mission by Jammu Municipal Corporation in-collaboration with ICICI Bank Ltd. & JK Bank. The top three paintings shall get cash rewards of following amounts alongwith citation and mementos: -
1st Prize Rs. 20000/-
2nd Prize Rs. 15000/-
3rd Prize Rs. 10000/-.
