Press Release on 2nd May 2020JMC demolishes unauthorized construction
On the instructions of Ms. Avny Lavasa (IAS), Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation demolished the pre-fabricated godown which was constructed unauthorisedly without proper permission of JMC by Harnam Singh at Sainik Colony, Jammu. The necessary support was provided to Sh. Ashish Gupta (KAS), Joint Commissioner, JMC by magistrate and police authorities to maintain law and order and to avoid any untoward incident during the demolition operation.
The residents of the area had also filed complaint against the godown where the commercial activity was causing nuisance in the locality and the same was sealed by the Jammu Municipal Corporation in the recent past to stop any such activity there.
