As a mark of respect on 145th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of National Integration of Independent India, Jammu Municipal Corporation celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) today. In this regard, a Pledge taking ceremony organized in the premises of Jammu Municipal Corporation wherein Deputy Mayor, Chairpersons, Councillors, Secretary and Officers of JMC alongwith their subordinate staff participate in the Pledge taking ceremony on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas(National Unity Day). Speaking on this occasion Dy. Mayor highlighted the role of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for unification of India and added that we should put our every possible effort for fulfilling his dream which he seen for national integration and unification and it is duty of every citizen to come forward and take pledge for the unity of whole India.
