Press Release on 5th December 2020Workshop/ Training Programme has been organized by Jammu Municipal Corporation in Council Hall JMC
Under the Chairmanship of Honorable Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Sh. Chandermohan Gupta, Honorable Deputy Mayor Smt. Purnima Sharma, Chairman Swachh Bharat Commiottie Suraj Prakash, Commissioner JMC Avny Lavasa (IAS), Secretary JMC/ Nodal Officer SBM Ms. Tinna Mahajan, a Workshop/ Training Programme has been organized by Jammu Municipal Corporation in Council Hall JMC.
The Sanitary Officers along with the Sanitary Inspectors and Supervisors were trained by the JMC Officials regarding their Roles and Responsibilities. They were being awared to work as per Solid Waste Management (SWM) Rules 2019 and to implement them further on field.
Along with that a Quiz Competition was also organized in which a total Of 25 Questions were asked regarding Swachh Bharat Mission and Solid Waste Managent and the winners were awarded with Certificates and Trophies.
Moreover all the Sanitary Inspectors were awarded with various Prizes in order to boost their Moral .
A training regarding Segregation of Solid Waste was also organized by IEC (Information, Education & Communication) team . Along with that the importance of three Dustbins i.e. Blue for Dry Waste, Green for Wet Waste & Black for Domestic Hazardous Waste was also given along with live examples.
Officials were also awared about the importance of Cleanliness & told to download the Swachata app. In order to resolve their grievances at Door step.
The event was concluded by Secretary JMC with a Vote of thanks.
