Pree ReleaseJAMMU MUNICIPAL CORPORATION DEMOLISHES THE UNAUTHORIZED CONSTRUCTIONS
While further continuing and intensifying the drive against the unauthorized constructions and during the field visit by Ms. Mandeep Kaur IAS Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation and Sh. R.S Jamwal KAS Joint Commissioner (Adm.), the Enforcement Staff led by the Enforcement Officer demolished two no.s of ongoing construction works which were being raised by Sh. Kailash Choudhary and another by Sh. Vikas Gupta at East extension Trikuta Nagar Jammu.
The said constructions had been raised unauthorizedly and in violation of the building plan. The Jammu Municipal Corporation initiated the action under the provisions of J&K Control of Building Operation Act 1998.
The demolition operation has been conducted with the help of Police force from Trikuta Nagar/ Channi Himmat Police Station and Police force from Distt. Police Lines Jammu.
Further, the Jammu Municipal Corporation appeals to the General Public to refrain from making illegal constructions and get building plans whether commercial / residential approved from Jammu Municipal Corporation otherwise action as admissible under rules leading to demolition / sealing of the building will be taken against the violators.
