Press Release on 3rd March 2017JMC SEALS SHOPS AT CHANNI HIMMAT JAMMU
On the instructions of Dr. Manmohan Singh (KAS) Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation Jammu and under the supervision of Sh. R.S. Jamwal (KAS) Joint Commissioner (Administration), the Enforcement staff sealed two shops Illegally constructed by Sh. Sushil Kumar S/o Sh. Kishori Lal at Plot No: 286/7 Channi Himmat, Jammu under section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988 as the said person has converted the residential building into commercial shops in violation of the land use of the area from residential to commercial one.
The sealing operation has been conducted with the help of Police Force from Channi Himmat Police Station and District Police Lines, Jammu.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation once again appeals to the General Public to refrain from making encroachments and unauthorized constructions / Conversion in violation of land use failing which strict action as admissible under rule leading to sealing/ demolition will be taken.
