Press Release on 26th November 2017JMC demolishes unauthorized construction
On the direction of Sh. Ramesh Kumar (IAS) , Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation, Sh. Rajesh Sharma (KAS), Joint Commissioner (A) JMC, led Enforcement Staff along with Chief Enforcement Officer and Enforcement Officer and undertook an extensive drive against the unauthorized constructions raised unauthorizedly and in violation of provisions of J&K control of Building operation act 1988.
During the drive 4 Number of Shops at Friends Colony Trikuta Nagar Ext.. Near canal were demolished and 4 numbers of iron rolling shutters fixed there were also demolished by pressing men and machinery into service which were being extended towards road side without the permission of JMC.
The demolition drive has been conducted with the co-operation and assistance of Police force led by station house Officer , Channi Himmat Police station Jammu.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation Appeals to the General Public to refrain from raising unauthorized construction/s failing which the demolition/sealing of the unauthorized structure will take place. Further it is also requested not to dump the building metal on road/lane side which causes obstruction to the public and also hindrance in the smooth flow of vehicular traffic.
