A Press Conference is organized on 06.03.19 and a historical step to clean Jammu is taken by Sh. Chander Mohan Gupta, Hon’ble Mayor, JMC, Adv. Purnima Sharma, Hon’ble Dy. Mayor, JMC, Sh. Suraj Prakash Padha, Chairman Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Committee, JMC and Commissioner, JMC in which they appealed to all the residents of Jammu to keep clean Jammu by throwing their domestic waste in nearby JMC containers, avoid the use of polythene bags and carry fabric bags with themselves while shopping, people should be aware of dry and wet waste and type of bins to be used for collection.
Hon’ble members appeal to all the religious committee to collect flowers /Polythene/Pineapple and other items in segregate form and contact to Nodal officer, Solid Waste Management, Dr. Zaffar Iqbal (Mb. No. 9419122484) for transportation and compositing in Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu. They once again appeal to all to clean Jammu and bring Jammu in top 10 cleanest cities of India and it is collective responsibility for all the residents of JMC.
