On the direction of Worthy Commissioner JMC, Ms. Mandeep Kaur, IAS, Municipal Veterinary Officer, JMC Dr. Zaffar Iqbal organised the Anti rabies/Anti scabies camp today on 28/06/2016 at Rehari area. About 37 Nos. of stray dogs was vaccinated against anti rabies/anti scabies treatment. JMC is going to organise such type of vaccinations in future also. JMC has already started the Sterilization /Immunization programme at Municipal Animal Care Centre, Roop Nagar Jammu. Till date about 1000 stray dogs are sterilized /immunized. Now, Approx. 10-15 dogs is sterilizing daily. JMC is going to speed up sterilization/anti rabies vaccination camps within JMC limits.
