Press Release on 15th February 2021JMC DEMOLISHED THE UNAUTHORIZED CONSTRUCTION
Under the supervision of Joint Commissioner (Adm), the Enforcement Staff led by the Chief Enforcement Officer Jammu Municipal Corporation, while further continuing the drive vigorously and acting tough against the violations and unauthorized construction in the different areas falling under the jurisdiction of Jammu Municipal Corporation and have taken the following action:
I. The team demolished the 03 No’s unauthorized construction of shops being raised by Sh. Subash Sharma S/o Sh. Mani Ram at Neal Sheel Vihar, Main Road, Paloura, Jammu
II. Sealed 05 No’s of Shops of Mohd Farooq Khan S/o Sh. M.Y Khan at Channi Rama Opp Police Line, Jammu.
III. Sealed 06 No’s of shop of Rizwan Ali S/o Naziq Ali at Channi Rama Opp Police Line, Jammu.
IV. Sealed shop of Sh. Bhagat Ram S/o Sh. Kanshi Ram at Main Road, Bhawani Nagar, Janipur, Jammu.
The action against the violation have been taken under the provisions of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988 and J&K Municipal Corporation Act 2000
The Jammu Municipal Corporation once again appeals to General Public to refrain from encroachments and unauthorized constructions otherwise action as admissible under rule leading to demolition / sealing.
