Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Ms. Mandeep Kaur, IAS today challaned the Executive Engineer, R & B Div. II, Jammu for dumping mulba along road side at Sidhra Bye Pass. The PWD Deptt. was collecting mulba from the sites where their works were going on and dumping the same at the banks of river Tawi. On spot vehicles of PWD Deptt. one tractor trolley bearing registration no. JK02AW-6881 and truck bearing registration no. JK02BL-4832 were seized by Commissioner, JMC found dumping mulba on road side.
Commissioner, JMC further appealed to general masses not to throw any kind of mulba on road side or throw the same in river Tawi as this is the main cause of over flooding of river Tawi during monsoon season, if anyone found doing so, shall be challaned under relevant provisions of law.
