Press Release on 25th January 2022A pledge function was organized in the premises of Jammu Municipal Corporation On the occasion of 12th National Voters Day.
On the occasion of 12th National Voters Day being celebrated across the country, a pledge function was organized in the premises of Jammu Municipal Corporation Jammu in which all the officers and officials besides eight new voters (04 each from Jammu East & Jammu West Assembly Constituencies attended the function). The function was chaired by Sh. Pankaj Gupta, Joint Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation. Sh. Atul Kumar (ERO-69-Jammu West AC) Secretary, Jammu Municipal Corporation also spoke on the occasion and drawn the attention of the participants to participate in the electoral process free and fearlessly. Finally the chair, gave pledge to all the participants to uphold the democratic traditions of our country & dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections.
Besides, while speaking on the occasion, Mst. Kosar Naz, Naib Tehsildar (Election) Jammu Municipal Corporation apprised the participants about the relevance of the day and also the about exercise of franchise of casting vote in a free, fair and peaceful elections and to vote in every elections fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or any inducement.
